For children

Our program, fosters growth in the young child not only in musical areas, but also in physical, emotional, social, language and cognitive areas.

Our curriculum is built upon a solid musical and developmental foundation. We cater for children up to five years old with three different class/age categories: Babies new-born - 18mths; Toddlers 18mths - 3 years old; and Pre-school 3 - 5 years old.

Over an eight week term one program is taught. The lessons bring together 6 to 10 children, each with a parent or caregiver present. When the 40 minute class is over, you are prepared to keep the experience alive all week.

Lady Bug Musik presents Simply Music, is a brand new program for teaching Piano. Rather than the traditional metholodogies which can be difficult to master, the goal of Simply Music is that through a natural self experience, a repertoire of great sounding music with a variety of styles, that the students have a highly positive and self affirming experience.

The program of Simply Music is broken down into three broad areas: the basics, fragments, and mapping. By breaking down the mechanics of piano playing and musicality into intermediate steps, the student learns to play pieces of music, without learning how to read music. This self experience then motivates the student to continue learning, leading to reading music, and full musicality.
